[Verse 1]
Patience is over tonight
The scream of a thousand grains of sand
Far in the past there was
Someone who turned on the light
'Cause we are...
Past and the future collide
Who says if we learned something?
Light keeps us strong
But the fight is really all
That keeps us together, we are
[Chorus]
(Oh oh)
Ripples of change
Your acts will remain
From a past far away
(Oh oh)
Ocean of change
Your tears will remain
In a time far away
[Verse 2]
It’s just a matter of time
Can’t die 'cause we are the same
An age of anger
Rage locked in young bodies
Protected by old fears
But patience is over tonight
I'll scream like I never did before
Future has come and the light will spread it out
And tangle our fates throughout time
[Chorus]
(Oh oh)
Ripples of change
Your acts will remain
From a past far away
(Oh oh)
Ocean of change
Your tears will remain
In a time far away
[Instrumental]
(Knowledge is a mirror)
(Ripples of Change)
(Patience is over tonight)
(Your tears will remain)
(Someone who turned on the light)
(Rage locked in young bodies)
[Bridge]
Knowledge is a mirror
Only by looking into it can we know
Ourselves
We're together past and present
From womb to tomb
We're together past and present
From womb to tomb
We're together past and present
From womb to tomb
We're together past and present
From womb to tomb
[Solo 1]
It keeps us together and
[Chorus]
(Oh oh)
Ripples of change
Your acts will remain
From a past far away
[Solo 2]
[Chorus]
(Oh oh)
Ripples of change
Your acts will remain
From a past far away
(Oh oh)
Ocean of change
Your tears will remain
From a past far away

Fantastic tech/prog death, with lots of variation and strong melodic lines throughout the songs. The chorus of Epitaph stuck with me for weeks. Easily makes my top 5 of 2021. Lloyd James

This entire album screams with homage to traditional heavy metal. Obvious influence from the likes of Priest, Maiden, etc. shines through, with the group adapting to the modern in fantastic ways.
